Collette Knowles. Artistic Director. A highly talented maker, performer, workshop leader and musician, Collette Knowles is one of the founding members of RMT. She co-wrote, adapted and performed in “The Tempest”, RMT’s original 2-person extravaganza. She now performs in and directs “Alice in Wonderland”. Trained at the prestigious “Bretton Hall University”, Collette is the creative force behind all that RMT does.

Tim Austin.  Administrator and performer.

Performer Tim Austin spent many years as a freelance actor and Theatre Dramaturg before joining Rough Magic Theatre in 2007. He now performs in Alice in Wonderland, as Lewis Carroll, and “The Adventures of Jolly Rodger” as Capt. Tim “The Terrible”. He co-wrote Alice in Wonderland and wrote “The Interrupted Wedding” - a shadow play that forms part of RMT’s children’s party shows.

Tim also undertakes much of RMT’s administration, including the upkeep of their website.

Leo Nolan.

Since co-founding Midland Theatre company in the late seventies, Leo has had an eclectic career as a composer, teacher  and performer.  Leo is one of the founding members of Rough Magic Theatre and now works with the company as a performer in a freelance capacity.
